Reiki is Japanese for 'Universal Life Energy'. It is a term that describes a system of natural healing that was developed in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui. Reiki balances life energy and enables the body's natural ability to heal itself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Reiki Degree Courses
The Traditional Japanese Reiki Certificated Courses offered by the Usui School of Reiki Healing aim to meet the National Occupational Standards (NOS) that are now required for Reiki practitioners in the UK. Training to the Core Curriculum is essential if you want to work as a practitioner.
Each Degree Course is open to a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 6 students to ensure an optimum learning experience, equal participation of all and the meeting of course aims and objectives.One- to-one training is also offered for students who cannot make the course dates, or would like to have individual tuition. The only prerequisite to taking these life-changing courses is the desire to heal and develop your full potential, so you can begin your 'Reiki Journey & Live the Reiki Way'.
Five Element Reiki Course
This is certificated two day training course for anyone that has completed Second Degree or above. It combines a range of techniques and principles from shiatsu and teate (traditional Japanese palm healing) and uses a simple approach to energy work that involves intuition, visualisation and the power of intent.
Reiki & Crystals Course
This is a certificated two days training for those who wish to learn the various ways crystals can be used with Reiki to amplify and enhance natural healing. It enables anyone who has completed Reiki Second Degree or above to gain insurance to provide both Reiki & Crystal Healing to members of the public for a fee.
Seichim Reiki Courses
Learning to channel Seichim is the 'next step' for Reiki Practitioners who have completed Second Degree or above and would like to work with another energy stream. Seichim combines Reiki and Egyptian symbols to produce a high vibration energy that focuses on the Heart Chakra and is know as the energy of all love.
Reiki Drum Technique Course
This is a certified 2 day training course for practitiners that wish to learn this new and exciting system from America, that combines Reiki and the healing power of the drum. During the training you will learn three different techniques that take the healing power of Reiki to a whole new level.
Reiki Drum Workshop
The Usui School is honoured to offer you the opportunity to take part in a Reiki Drum Journey Workshop. During this one day workshop you will experience the wonderful world of Journeying that was traditionally used by shamans in ancient cultures for healing and divination.
Crystal Meditation Workshop
This Crystal Meditation Workshop combines the healing power of crystals and various meditations to bring balance to the seven main chakras. No previous experience is necessary just a willingness to try a holistic approach to meditation to experience a sense of deep relaxation and enhanced wellbeing.
Reiki Groups
In addition all students are provided with opportunity to participate in the Reiki Sharing Circle and Mentoring Group for their personal and Continued Professional Development (CPD).
Reiki Meditation Classes
The Usui School offers Reiki Meditation Classes based on Traditional Japanese Reiki Training sessions called Shuyokai. These contemporary classes aim to advance the ability to channel Reiki through the practice of Japanese Reiki Meditations and Reiju Empowerments.
